Why are there liars? Lying is a complex human behavior driven by various motivations, often rooted in self-preservation or social dynamics. People may lie to avoid punishment, protect their reputation, or gain an advantage over others. Sometimes, lying is used to spare someone’s feelings or maintain social harmony, even if it involves bending the truth. In certain cases, compulsive lying can stem from psychological issues or a distorted perception of reality. Ultimately, the presence of liars in society reflects the intricate interplay between individual desires, social pressures, and moral considerations.

Well we are all different in life. Everyone chooses who they want to be and that cannot be influenced by an external body, whether the behavior is negative or positive.

There are many reasons why people lie. The most common is to hide their image. There are people who don't want to reveal their reality as they're scared that they may lose their close ones.

I think sometimes people lie just because it feels easier with them than facing the truth. I don't see that to be always right, but a lot of people take shortcuts when they're scared or pressured.

If there were no liars there would be no politicians.
This is very true!

As much as I dislike liars, you are always going to come across a liar many times in your life. I know just a few months ago, when my dad was on end-of-life care, everything was withdrawn aside from pain medication and mouth rinse to keep him comfortable but he kept fighting. We thought maybe it was because my brother had not come to see him yet, and he was keeping himself going because of that.

I made contact with my brother, and so did my mum and auntie, and he told us that he was at his girlfriend's parents' house. He then slipped up after my dad passed, saying that his girlfriend's parents had disowned her, which was something he had said previously before my dad became very ill.

Liars usually lie so much, they forget about what they lied about and end up falling into the huge hole they dug.
