Christmas 2025 What is your plan for Christmas 2025?

Yes, the much awaited time of the year is here. You can hear jingle bells and the festive mood picking up.
Christmas is one of the biggest celebration across the globe. And it is the much awaited holiday. Being a Hindu household, we are not traditionally into the celebration. But India is secular and we sense the festivities and vibes of each festival from different faiths. I have Christian friends and so do my daughters. And seeing their friends, they brought a bit of Christmas to our household. I welcomed it as I want reasons to celebrate. Haha. So, we have a Christmas tree and my daughters would sing some Christmas songs around it and will wait for their gifts.
This is one holiday that we all get. But we all preferred staying indoor and enjoying it as this time is the peak travel time and we don't like rush. But this year would be different. We have booked our travel for a long week and would enjoy the beaches, some carnival and some water adventure.

This year's Christmas looks somehow to me because I don't have money in my account. This time last year, I had a lot to spend. This is why I don't really have a plan yet but I know I’m spending it with my family. Even if it's a small jollof and chicken we eat, Christmas is always sweet when you’re around your people. I might travel to my hometown but I still do not have money to do all of that.

I will pray that you soon come out of this tight financial spot. And you are right, festival is more about spending time with loved ones and showing that you care. Even a very humble meal together with gratitude and love in heart can make the festival so special.
