What has been the best thing that has happened to you today?

So far, that has been nothing yet for me today, but I am hoping that changes

Nothing for me today, unless anything happens between now and me going to bed.

Still early in the day so nothing as of yet has happened that I would say has been the best thing to happen to me today.

Going out to dinner

That would be completing work I have had hanging over my head

I don't have to go back to the Dentist

Getting most of the chores I had to do complete

I was able to replace a camera at work. It's working now and it didn't take more than a half hour.

I was able to get out of the house for a bit today, now that it has cooled down. The heatwave we just had really did affect me, so it being cooler has been perfect.

Finally seeing our cat Ebony, eat something today. She is getting a lot older and has been through a lot this year since my mum passed unexpectedly in January and us having to take her in. She can be quite picky with her food and can sometimes refuse to eat but today she has eaten quite a bit

had a surprise parcel from mum for my birthday.
