India celebrated it's grand festival of lights, Diwali on Monday. In some cultures, it was celebrated on Tuesday. We had a long weekend as Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday was a holiday on account of this festival. Today we returned back to work and some carried the festival vibes bringing sweets and delicacies in the staff room. And it's another one day of work and the other weekend begins. Just two working days in this week. It feels good to have such short working weeks. What about you? Do you enjoy such short working weeks?

Whereas we had a day off today also on account of Bhaiyya Dauj. I have taken off for Friday, as I am presently in Ujjain to visit Mahakaleshwar and for the "Sarp dosh puja" of my kids and wife. I will reach Delhi by Friday night and will join the office on Saturday. Yes, it was a short week for me, as I will have to go for one day only. 🙂

I do enjoy short working weeks. :) We don't tend to get them too often in the UK, though, which is a shame, but they are nice when we do get them.

They always seem to go way too fast, though! Does anyone else feel the same way?

That is nice, do enjoy it. There was a time I had only one working day throughout the whole week due to different holidays falling on the same week. It rarely happens though and I know the chances of it occurring again is very slim. But I did enjoy it.
