I think it has to be a local song titled “Sweet Mother” by Prince Nico Mbarga. Anytime I hear that song, memories of my mum playing it on our old radio just keep rushing back. Sundays after church, she would cook jollof and play it loud. That song is classic, even if you listen to it now, it still makes sense.
