Poetry....do you enjoy it.

I love poetry. I feel that it's one of the highest achievements of human race when it comes to linguistic intelligence and skill. It's an art. You might be born with an innate talent and inclination for it or you might acquire it later through some influence in your environment. Either way, it has to be improved and sharpened to make it better. Like any other forms of art, poetry too is a work in progress. You never become an expert in it.
I love reading poetries and writing poems. I write more in my mother tongue Hindi, but I have written few in English too.
Do you enjoy poetry? Do you write poetry?

I do enjoy poetry. This depends on the kind of poetry. I also love religious poetry as well and it feels really spiritual to read religious poetry. There are different kinds of poetry and this depends on what type of poetry you are reading.

I have never came across any religious poetry per say. Yes, I have read a few and even written a couple of them with faith being the central theme. But can't call them religious any way. Faith is something universal and not particular to any one faith. It would be interesting to come across some religious poem. I mostly write in my mother tongue, Hindi.
