Is blogging dying??

I have one blog running for years but it is not monetized. Recently I started a new one. I am yet to post there. I would like to monetize my blogs and earn from them. When I shared my plan with few close friends, they did not find the idea too exciting. They feel that blogs are no more things in trend. Blogging is dying and no one reads a blog any more. People are more into video blogging, Tiktok, reels, YouTube shorts etc.
What's your personal opinion about it?

It's not fully true. People like me still like to read blogs and don't watch vlogs or short reels. It's better to monetize your blog and see what good it does for you. Ask @Nomad he is a blogger and is in to this field from so many years. He may be able to tell you how is it.

@Sanjeev . I can relate to that. I too am from that same old school who prefer to read than to scroll and watch the reels. Yes, the popularity of blogs might have reduced due to other things invading the same space. But I would still not considered in fully outdated and dead.
Yes, I know about Nomad. I am definitely going to take help and tips from him.
