How often do you take a break for your mental health?

Something I have learned over the years is that I must always put myself first, especially when it comes to my mental health. I used to just keep going, even when I knew I had to take a break, and that was never a good idea.

How often do you take a break for your mental health?
 
Unfortunately not very often, i always end up letting myself get mentally drained before i take a little break. I am working on trying to take more breaks though.
 
I always take a break of a day in a month from work because I know that's the area from which I get the maximum stress. And I feel it's important to get myself motivated and regain energy to work. I don't know about others, but that's how I make myself mentally well.
 
I have my weekends to myself to relax and unwind from the activities of the week. I don’t allow anything or anyone to deprive me of that time as I use it to enjoy myself and have fun. Ever since I started doing that I noticed that I feel more cheerful for the next week.
 
Probably not nearly as often as I should tbh.
 
At present I cannot afford a break for my mental health but Ideally we should find time as often as we can. So planning a mini vacation every 3 months if not every month would be perfect.
 
I try to take a break at least once a week. Honestly, just sitting back, scrolling or listening to music helps me reset. 😂 Sometimes I take a nap for 20 minutes and it’s like I get a brand new energy. In honesty, work piles up, so it's normal to forget to rest, but we need to understand that taking breaks are equally important. Everyone needs small pauses here and there for mental health.
