How is your relations with your neighbour?

I don't have good neighbors, so I don't have a good relationship with them, but I have seen people have their relationship with their neighbor like their family members. They believe they are like their family because they are going to help them and will reach them faster than their family if they live farther from you.

How is your relationship with your neighbor?

I have a very good relationship with my neighbors but we always make sure to mind our business. We only exchange good greetings whenever we meet on the driveway.

I have a very excellent relationship with my neighbours. I always greet them and hold light conversations with them. I try to render assistance to them whenever there is a need to. I always define my social life first by how I am able to relate with my neighbors. I have never been in a position to exchange words or have a quarrel with any of my neighbors in different places I have lived.

Neighbors on either side are a pack of dipshits so no I have nothing to do with them. Too many screaming kids.

I've got a very great neighbor. We greet, chat small when we see each other, but I must say that it's nothing too deep. I think I prefer it that way because we are not too close and not too far from each other. That is what makes us respect one another. Some neighbors can become very troublesome if you get too close, so I try to maintain my peace.

Hmm...yes, not all neighbors are good; sometimes you have to maintain a distance from them for your peace. I also had such a neighbor in the past whom we prefer not to talk to because they were all quarrelsome and used to find things to quarrel with the others.

Whenever I move to a new location, I tend to study my neighbors first to know the kind of people they are. If I see that we can go along, I go close to them and form a friendship. But if they are not so likeable, I maintain my distance.

@Teegold That's a good strategy, and it's followed by most of the people. But it's always good to have a good relationship with them because they are the ones who come forward to help us when we require someone to help.and no one is with us or will take time to reach us.

I do relate with them, but not all the time. I leave for work very early in the morning and come back late in the evening. But the very few times that I pass by some of them, we get to greet and say a few words.

I don't interact with my neighbors unless it is absolutely necessary. I don't have anything against them, but that's just how i live my life.

@eLdavis Everyone lives his/her life, but people around us have a role in our lives. I also don't talk to them unless I find them outside their home, as I don't go to their home to talk to them. I greet them when I meet them, and that's how the relationship is built. I have a relationship to the extent that I won't hesitate to ask for help if required.

Same here, I don't go about visiting them, but if i do see them outside, i greet them, if they need my help for something and i can actually do it, then i don't mind helping them out as well.
