Do you engage in gardening, do you do it as a hobby or do you do it as a profession? Well, I was born in a farmers' family. Even though I am not directly involved in farming these days, I have worked in a farm and garden in the past, I did as a profession, I sold produce to make money.

I engage in it as a hobby, and it serves me my food every now and then. I plan to expand my farm since I still have some lands available, so that I can reduce the amount of money I spend on food.

I haven't done much gardening in my life, I live in Michigan, so we get some pretty rough winters, so I don't really do any growing. Though I have thought about doing it, because I think it'd be great to grow certain things, especially fruits and veggies. Just as a way to save money. Also maybe even raise chickens as some of my neighbors have been raising some.

I would only do it for my own needs, I don't think I'd be able to grow a garden that I could profit from. Sure I could sell some produce, but I'd be limited on the amount because I doubt I'd be growing a ton.
