Flood limit for threads

Not sure where to post this but it looks like the flood limit for new threads is about two minutes. Can this please be lowered?
I have lowered this now to 10 seconds, let me know if it is any better or if it is still the same :)

Thanks.

I have made another change, hopefully this has fixed the issue :)

Let me know if the issue persists :)

I think there shouldn't be any such warning but it's good if you don't want many threads on your website or trying to stop thread flooding.

There must be a limit like 5 posts/day so people may not spam on the site. I have seen people posts infinite posts in few seconds so there must be a rule to stop flood.

With the kind of forum we are, we don't like to limit how many times people can post per day as we like to be a laid back forum. We trust that members would not spam just to increase their post count :)

Maybe in initial phase such restrictions should not be made because at this time you need to have more contents on the forum and later on such restrictions can be made.

It doesn't make sense to put a limit on the number of posts. It's like restricting the members and that's not good enough especially when they are so excited to engage in multiple discussions and they are limited to do so. A relax approach like this one would encourages natural growth and would help members to settle in.

Oh! I did not notice that. Maybe because I am more into responding to threads than creating new one. And a gap of 125 seconds sounds reasonable. Well, that would be what one needs to type for initiating a thread discussion.
Well, Shortie says thar it is lowered to 10 secs, that should be perfect.
