Do you prefer to talk to people about your mental health?

@Starmix If you had a mental issue, then you would have discussed it with anyone else. It's better not to discuss it with anyone else except the family members and the doctor.
Thankfully, I do not have an issue like that, and to all my family members and relatives. I think that is also hereditary. Some may have suffered mental illness because of financial problems, betrayal, an unfulfilled career, or a failed business. It is indeed important to talk to someone close or to a parent to ease the troubled state of mind.

@Starmix Yes, that's important. I can correlate it to my daughter, who is not doing well in her academics at the moment and is stressed, but after the psychologist, there is a change in her. This is actually because she shared with the psychologist what she is feeling. The conclusion is she wants to share what is going on with someone, not the parents.

In this part of the country, people don't take mental health issues very seriously until it boomerang but for me, I tried to talk about it but it's quite hard sometimes based on our culture. I remember the last time I open up to a very close friend, he really helped me to calm down but when you tell some people they cannot handle it but they will just keep judging you instead. So I do talking and journaling to balance it. Honestly, when you speak out, it would lighten the burden and it would make things way better. The most important thing here is to also avoid social media stress as it can make things worse, just talking to someone you trust can solve the whole situation because it's very therapeutic
