Do you prefer light mode or dark mode?

When using the internet and computers nowadays, you will find that in most cases, you can now choose between dark mode and light mode. I always remember when we did not have that option, I always hated how bright some websites were or even some applications on my PC.

Now that we have the option between light mode and dark mode, I always choose dark mode, as it is easier on my eyes and causes less eye strain.

Do you prefer light mode or dark mode?

I select dark mode everywhere I go, and on every device I use. I can't go back to light mode after, the screen is just too bright and jarring. Dark mode is a lot easier on the eyes. Also, I like to turn on a bluelight filter at night, which I'd recommend everyone do. Most computers have a built in feature these days where you can tint your screen a yellowish, where it'll be a lot safer on the eyes.

It depends on the website and platform I find myself. The UI of some goes better with specific mode, and that is for me to decide which it is.

Definitely dark mode. After I changed to using the dark mode, I couldn't go back. It is less straining on the eye particularly in the late hours when I am working or scrolling the social media. Light mode is simply too bright for my liking. Besides, dark mode is simply more modern and tidy as it makes long screen time much more comfortable.

I use light mode a lot but my Discord is on dark mode.

Whichever is the default, because that will have had more effort put into it most of the time.

For example: I would never use Discord's Light mode, or Wikipedia's Dark mode: they just look very ugly to me!
