When it comes to a personal garden, you can either have grass, which some people have with a footpath, or you could go for paving slabs, which are much easier to keep than grass for some.

Personally, I prefer grass. There is absolutely nothing like working barefooted on a very soft grass in your compound. When you feel the heart beneath your feet, it's very soothing. The pave slabs get too hot in the sun and that's why I don't like them, but grass is always cool. It's even good for children to play on. By the grace of God, I have small lawn in my compound and maintaining it as always given me joy

Grass it is for me. I like the scenery of nature, it gives me some kind of soothing feeling, something slabs can't give. Plus grass adds to the beautification of the place.
