Do you operate a joint or separate account with your spouse?

For those that are married, there are two ways to operate the financial accounts of the household. You can choose to operate it individually or as a team. When I do get married, I will prefer going as a team. It is easier and balances the expenses.

How do you handle the finances in your family?

We have a joint account in one of the bank here where we also have taken a locker on rent. We have a joint account here so that anyone us may operate locker anytime.

I don't have a joint account with my spouse. We keep our money separately, it is usually me who pays the bill and she saves for financial emergencies. Sometimes she also helps me when making big purchases.

Me and my partner have a joint account and we've always said each of the money we both get is our money and it's always worked out well that way.

That’s someone that you have mutual financial understanding with. This is difficult to pull off in many marriages.
