Do you ever shut off and listen to music?

Something I have done a lot of over the years, and even now, I find myself doing it. I will shut myself off with my earbuds and listen to music. I have a playlist of songs by singers whom I enjoy, and when I listen to them, it helps me relax, especially when the reason I shut off in the first place was because of stress.

Do you ever shut off and listen to music? Do you have a specific playlist you listen to?
 
Yes, I do it frequently. I have made my playlist and some of the days I put ear phone and listen to my playlist leaving everything. Yes, it works in relaxing mind and mood.
 
Yes i do this most times, especially in situations where i have so much on my mind and i just don't know what else to do, the music usually helps calm me down.
 
Oh yes I do this almost every evening. After the day’s activities I just sit on my favorite chair and listen to my favorite playlists for hours. During that time I don’t do anything else, just listen and become absorbed in my songs. This is a way for me to unwind from the day’s activities and clear my mind.

I have done this many times when I head to bed after being busy all day. I just lie in bed with my earbuds and listen to a specific playlist, and it helps a lot :)
 
Most times, I simply listen to my favourite tunes and shut my eyes and forget about the world at least for a while. 😂 It's like a small vacation of 10-15 minutes, without phone, without notifications, just only the music. It clears my mood and my head off from stress and makes me feel brighter. Indeed, music is a therapeutic
 
I do it from time to time, at least once in a day. I will do it for few minutes. I will close my eyes and listen to a few songs for few minutes and get absorbed in the lyrics and song. I can not afford to do it more than 10 minutes as I have a lot to do.
Anyways, I keep playing some or the other music in the background when I am doing chores and other work.
 
Music heals, it is therapeutic. And I have realised that working as a therapist and special educator for more than 16 years now. And as a therapist, even I need healing on a regular basis. Music does that healing to my soul.
 
Nowadays I listen to my favorite recorded radio music shows on Mixcloud. Other than introducing me to new music, it also makes me feel happy!
