The cast from A Minecraft Movie 2 teamed up to release a video confirming that the sequel now has an official title: A Minecraft Movie Squared.
The group of actors who helped bring Mojang Studios' popular sandbox game to the big screen showed up for the Minecraft Live May 2026 show to take viewers on a trip behind the scenes of the new movie's set. It's the most we've seen from the film since it was first announced back in October 2025, but more importantly, we now know what to call it while we wait for its 2027 premiere.
