I have lots of childhood memories, but the best one is when we used to go to our village in summer vacations and used to spend the whole month there. We used to go to our farm along with our friends and used to climb trees and pluck fruits and eat. Then we used to play hide and seek at night in the dark, as at that time there were frequent supply cuts at night there. It was so much fun.
What about you? Do you have anything to share here?
I had sweet memories during childhood. One memory which I can't forget was when my dad bought me two piggy banks. That was the time that I learned to save from that day onward.
This is very interesting to be honest. There is one that got me so interested anytime I remember. I remember how we used to in our compound after the rain, everywhere would be slippery, and we run and fall just about everywhere and also laugh nonstop. My siblings and I play hide and seek until sun sets, especially during school holidays. Sometimes our parents would shout, cautioning us but we don't care. Life was very simple then, no stress, it was just pure joy and fun. I also remember when I used to help my mom make akara early in the morning, the smell of those fried beans still stuck in my mind. Childhood moments is what I call real happiness, and those memories always bring smiles anytime adult responsibilities surface.
