Do you swap decorations when it is closer to Christmas time or do you keep the Halloween vibes until the end of the year?

We tend to swap it on the 1st of November for Christmas and then slowly decorate further from there. Aside from Bonfire Night on the 5th of November, we don't really have much of anything to look forward to other than Christmas, so it makes sense to brighten up the place with lights and decorations

Is this a thing people do? I've never heard of it

Never used to be, but during the pandemic, more and more people started doing it to brighten up the place as it was such a dull time, and now it just seems to have stuck
