Late-Night Hosts Unite After Jimmy Kimmel’s Cancellation Amid Trump Threat

This is so sad to see, and I really do hope that Jimmy Kimmel can come back on the air. I have only seen Jimmy Fallon's segment during his show on Thursday night, but others have also come forward and are showing their support for Jimmy Kimmel.

Trump has gone as far as to say that they should have their licenses revoked for not supporting the President, which is very shocking.

What are your thoughts? Could this be a way to silence those who do not agree with Trump? Is free speech over in the US?

Speaking to reporters on board Air Force One on Thursday, Mr Trump suggested certain networks should have their licences revoked over a lack of support for him.

"When a late-night host is on network television there is a licence," he said. "I read somewhere that the networks were 97% against me… they give me only bad publicity or press, I mean [if] they're getting a licence. I would think maybe their licence should be taken away."

This is a wild situation. I think a late night show I've always been about free expression even when it's touching some aspect of politics. Canceling someone because of political pressure is very dangerous to free speech.
