Is premarital pregnancy a sin? Premarital pregnancy is viewed differently by cultures; some see it as a moral issue, others do not. Views on premarital pregnancy differ across cultures and beliefs. Some believe it is wrong because it breaks tradition and rules. Others see it as a natural part of life without judgment. Compassion and support as important for anyone facing such a situation; each person’s story deserves respect.

In our culture it is considered a sin. An unmarried girl having a child doesn't get a respect from the society and had to hide or has to abort the child. I remember a celebrity "Neena Gupta" got pregnant before marriage from a cricket player Vivian Richards , had to face lots of criticism from the society but being a celebrity she was able to face it but it's not easy for a common person.

I don't think so, i mean, things happen. If they're a good mother and keep the baby, I don't see an issue.

My sister had a baby with her current boyfriend, and we love the little guy to bits. :)

Hell, my better half @Shortie has 4 kids with her ex. Yet I love em like my own. :) It's all a matter of perspective I think. :)

In my country, there are pregnant teens seen everywhere and yet single. In the past, unwed mothers were cursed and even disowned by their families, but as time goes by, society changes. This time, parents accept the fate of their pregnant daughter without a husband. Acceptance of reality is the key to sustain peace.

We still have the same tradition. The things have changed but not much. Still society doesn't give respect to the unmarried mothers. They have to relocate to a place where no one knows them. It will take years for people to accept it.

Whether premarital pregnancy is considered a sin really depends on personal beliefs, culture and even religion. Some people see it as wrong while others do not see it that way.

I wouldn't say it is a sin, but I am also not against those who believe it is.

Nowadays, you see many who have children out of wedlock, and it never seems to be frowned upon.
