How do you celebrate your birthday?

I know there are lots of people who like to celebrate their birthday with their friends and family. I do celebrate it by going out for dinner with my family (siblings' families and parents). How do you celebrate it? Do you celebrate it with your family or friends?

I have always viewed my birthday as an ordinary day to me, I do not celebrate it in any way. In fact most days I would not know until the day has passed. I am getting closer to the end of my life, what is there to celebrate?
