Have you ever written letters to your friends in the past?

I remember I used to write letters to my friends in my childhood, as the internet did not exist at that time. It was a great feeling and excitement to receive a letter from a friend when received. It used to take days to deliver the letter.

Have you written letters to your friend in the past, or have you just restricted yourself to the emails and messages?

That must be a treasure for you, @Starmix. My maternal uncle has saved letters of my mother, who died 45 years ago, just for her memories. He was showing those letters to us a few days ago. They were full of love sent to her brother by my mother.
Wow, that was somewhat romantic and overwhelming. Writing a love letter is the only resort for those who cannot express their feelings face-to-face with the person. Writing is a lot of fun, and the reader will also be carried emotionally and mentally when the words used suit the feelings of both parties.

Yes, I have written a couple of letters to my friends in the past and that was when I was in secondary school. We used to write letters like we are pen pals. I remember using those fancy scented papers, acting like I was some big writer. Sometimes,.I would draw small love symbol at the corner, especially if the letter is a female friend, you know those nonsense teenage cruise.😂 And the funniest part is that we’d be waiting for reply like our life depends on it or like it's an exam result. These days everything has moved to social like WhatsApp and voice notes. I really miss that slow, sweet vibe. Those letters has a kind of emotional weight that cannot be replicated with the present day chats
