Hantavirus latest: We don't know if the virus has mutated, says France

France's health minister has warned that it is still unknown whether the circulating strain of hantavirus has mutated or not.

Speaking in the National Assembly, Stephanie Rist said: "There are things we don't know."

She went on:

"We do not yet have the complete sequence of the virus... We cannot be certain that this virus has not yet mutated."
