With the invention of farming technologies, we have been able to increase the yield; however, this has not stopped the price of foods going up. In recent time, food price has gone so high that for average income families, it has been extremely difficult to eat good food. Here lies the importance of growing your own food and you can start with vegetable gardening. Have you tried growing your own food? What do you grow?

No, I have not. But in the past we had a garden where we used to grow vegetables and used to consume accordingly. It is better to grow it ourself because lots of chemicals are being used today to ripe them these days.

I have known this long ago that there will always be a rising cost of food. That is why I am making good use of the spare arable land I have around me to cultivate crops I need on a daily basis. I do not spend any money on spices and vegetables because I have them easily.

@Kennysplash That's great. I also wish I may be able to do it, but because of the lack of land here in the city, I am not able to do it at the moment. I will shift to my village after I retire from the job and will start agriculture and cultivate vegetables and other things for sure.
