Do you put real picture on your profile on the sites?

Yes, I do, but I have seen people who don't like to do that, as they fear that their picture may be misused. I don't know if that's true. But still I like to see the real picture of a person, as that gives the impression that I am chatting with a real person. What about you? Do you use your real pictures on the sites?

Nope, I usually have either a Lion King or platypus avatar .

To be honest, it actually depends on the platform. For Facebook and LinkedIn, yeah, I use my real photo. But for forums or Reddit, I prefer using avatars or random pics. Sometimes it’s just better for privacy issues. But I understand when people use their real face, it makes you look more authentic.
