Do you also like to save?

All of us need to save at least some amount. I started saving when I was 11 years old. I saved my extra allowance in a piggy bank. Up to this time, I still have a piggy bank, despite having savings in the bank. However, because of some circumstances, others may not be able to save, but I am sure someday, those who can't save now may save later. Some people might be the breadwinners in their families, which prevents them from setting aside some amount to save. But their cases are temporary; the time comes when some members in the family can have good jobs too in the future. When there is saving, there is also a feeling of security and fulfillment. Se have to save for future use or an emergency.

I have been saving from a very young age like you. This has become an innate nature of mine over decades. I picked up this habit as I grew in the households were conscious and mindful about the expenses. There was a financial discipline in the very fabric of the household and I picked it up. I am glad that I did. It has helped me be in a financial situation where I am now feeling financially secure and living a decent life, being able to afford things that I need and even desire for.

Savings is what each and every individual should take very seriously. I try to save, but it’s not always easy with how things are very expensive now. I think it is an habit that we should imbibe in anything we do, even if it is a very small amount of money we are able to save. I like that little peace of mind that comes from knowing I have something put aside. Even if it’s not much, it still feels good. To be honest, each time I try to save a certain percentage of my income, I end up missing out due to life responsibilities and perhaps the amount of money I make online is not enough to pay my bills. I’ve been using those simple savings apps just to discipline myself, but it doesn't work no matter what I do.

I understand your situation. With the high prices of everything, many cannot save, and saving might not be on their minds, but survival from the day-to-day needs, especially food and bills. I am so lucky that my parents trained me to save when I was a child. I started saving at age 11, and no one has ever stolen my money from my two big piggy banks. I transferred my money to the ABNK when I started schooling in high school.

@uptrendfinancialsignal . It is good to read your response. You are trying your best and all in your capacity to save and stay disciplined. It's not easy to save if your necessary obligations are enough to drain you off all the income that you made. When we have some financially low period , we all face the challenge of saving. The evergrowing prices and inflation makes things tight for any average person. You are trying to save whatever little you can. With this discipline, things will get better. And I am hopeful that the kind of hardwork and effort that you are putting will also increase your income soon.
