Are you okay with the recent Grand Theft Auto VI delay?

As you may already know, Rockstar games revealed that they are delaying GTA VI until November 19th of 2026, more than a year away from now. It was originally supposed to release sometime in 2025, many said Oct/Nov of 2025, but they delayed it to May of 2026, and now to November of 2026. We were getting so close to release, and now we're stuck waiting even longer. Are you tired of the wait? Do you think the delay is due to the employees they laid off recently?

By the time we get GTA VI, we'll be ready for a new console.

I don't have anything to say about the delay cause even if it comes out now, I don't have the console to play it. I haven't even played GTA V yet.

I won’t lie, it's a little painful. We’ve been waiting forever and I already planned my schedule around that release date . But I’d rather wait than get one buggy nonsense like Cyberpunk launch. GTA needs to be very great, especially after all the hype. The trailer alone is something that would make it stick to your head. The graphics, the world, everything just looks very perfect. So if waiting will make it perfect, that's not a problem at all.

That's fair. I'm not in a hurry to get it either. To be honest, I'm kind of played out when it comes to GTA for me. I used to get into it big time, but I played so much of the earlier GTA titles, that with GTA IV and V I got bored with them quick. I think it's because I played so much, that I just get bored with the fast. I bet I will get bored with GTA VI too at some point.

Yeah we have been waiting for what feels like forever now. I remember back in the day when we'd get a new GTA almost every couple years, but we got GTA V repackaged like 3 times over. And true, better to wait a little longer, because this game is going to be massive in scale, so I hope they get it right.
