Are you earning from any of your hobbies?

Hobbies are something that have always been seen as something to relax or rejuvenate from our work and other obligations of life. Many strongly feel that one should keep hobbies out of profession. Many turn their hobbies into career or something for monetary benefits. Some like it and support it. Others strongly feel that hobbies when turned into money making loose it's charm and become like a work.
What's your say in that? Do you have hobbies that bring you some money? Do you think it is a good idea to let hobbies become your profession?

Yes I am earning from one of my hobbies which is writing online. I enjoy having meaningful conversations on forums and social media, now I can make some bucks while doing so.

No, I have not made my hobbies my profession. I also believe that when we make our hobby our profession, we are able to earn well, and we don't get bored of our work. There are lots of people who have an interest in art and craft, painting, or playing a specific sport, make them their profession, and earn well.

Hobby is something you can do without expecting monetary compensation. However, with time it may fetch some money. I'm not currently earning from my hobbies but I hope to at some time in the future

Yes, I do generate some income out of one of my hobbies, which is writing. It began with simple journaling and posting on forums just to have fun, but people began paying attention to my post and started to offer me small gigs. It is not a full time income yet but it is good to receive payment for something that I really enjoy doing. But it takes time and patience to monetize a hobby, but it is well worth it even if it's a small step.
