When it comes to Christmas, you can either purchase a real tree or an artificial tree. I prefer artificial as I could never deal with the mess from the pine needles and also the constant watering to be sure it wasn't too dry and caught fire.

Which do you prefer at Christmas, a real tree or an artificial tree?

I am not even sure I have the option for a natural tree living in the land down under, but I'd probably would prefer an artificial one any way. A real one such like such a waste. I prefer being able to reuse it for at least a few years.

I haven't been doing a tree because I have a cat. But normally we do the artificial tree though because I don't have much luck keeping plants alive so I know I have no hope with a tree.

Over here we don't have access to the natural one, so we often go for the artificial. Then again, the advantage of using an artificial one is that it can be reused over and over again, so it saves money.

I'm fully on board with artificial tree. It’s more practical and since you can use it repeatedly each year it saves money over time. Also I appreciate being able to set it up without the hassle of it drying. The only thing I do miss from trees is that fresh pine aroma but a scented candle can easily make up for that
