I had always thought that parenting is an easy task. When the kids were born, it was difficult because I have twins, and to take care of both of them together is not an easy task, and when they grew up, things became somewhat easy, but again, they became 17 years old, and I am finding it difficult. Why is it easier to deal with the little kids than the kids when they grow up? Do you find parenting a difficult task?

Parenting is not as flowery and perfect as it shown and perceived. It is tough, exhausting and can get ugly too. But then it's fulfilling too. Most of the times it becomes too challenging as we try too hard to be perfect and not see it as a journey of joys and miseries. Parenting is about working on ourselves. More than working on Children, parents need to work on themselves

Parenting is not as easy as people think. It's way beyond feeding and some other basic responsibilities. In parenting, there are sleepless nights, tantrums, school fees and so many other things, but when your kids are happy and they call you mama and papa, you will be very happy because that is a joy of having children. Honestly the struggle is not easy and I'm sure that people that are parents would understand that.

That’s exactly how it is with life experiences. We do not really know how it is until we experience it ourselves. Parenting is never easy, those that have been there can testify to that fact. It is something that we just cope with and figure out as we meet ourselves in it.

That's true; it looks easy until we become parents and experience it. It's not an easy job to take responsibility for kids and make them go in the right direction. Sometimes you have to be strict and sometimes lenient as per the circumstances.

Parenting has never been easy even if it is a single child. A neighbor mine has given birth to one child and he has vowed not to have any more children again. According to him, one child is enough troubles.

And imagine mine; I have twin kids, and you know how much we suffered raising them, and now, more than that, we are suffering when they are grown up. People say it's easy to deal with grown kids, but I say it's more difficult to deal with them.

Though am not a parent yet, but one thing i know for a fact is that it is no where near easy. I have had to take care of my little nieces for a limited period of time and i can say it was not easy.

I have seen my sister thrown into motherhood and her experience has made me to understand that parenting is not easy. The few days that my nieces come to stay with me, I know how much stressed I am. And I almost chase them away. Now, come to think of going through all those troubles everyday and it keeps increasing as the children age. Again, the kids also have financial needs to be met. I doff my hat for all the good parents out there that are taking responsibility and taking care of their children well.
