Books are said to be friends of ours, but how many of you believe this? I believe it because you get knowledge from them if you read good books. Since childhood we read books, but how many of you continued the habit of reading books?
But now a days because of lack of time I am not able to read books but still try. What about you? Do you still read books?
When you say books, do you mean printed ones or ebooks? Normally I still make it a habit to read good books every now and then. But they are mostly ebooks. Reading is one of my favorite things to do, I can't dump it for anything.
I like printed books more than e-books. I don't get a feeling of a book when reading an ebook. I think people don't buy printed books, as they need space to keep them, and they feel they cannot be taken to places like e-books, which can be read on phones anywhere.
I love reading books. It is good for personal growth and mental development. I have a book shelf for different categories of books like motivational and investment books.
Honestly, I love reading but it depends on my mood. Sometimes I can read three chapters straight, other times I just stare at the page. I mostly read motivational and finance books, things like Rich Dad Poor Dad or Atomic Habits. They keep my head in the right space. I remember during lockdown, I finished like five books in two weeks, that was my record. I want to get back to that level again.
