I had an eye procedure yesterday due to my poor diabetes management in the past.

They did laser (I think only in the left eye) and an injection in each eye. I was put to sleep.

Coming out of sedation was a little rocky as I was a little unwell and kept falling asleep but I'm doing okay now.

Eye sight is still a bit blurry and I've got to have four eye drops each day in both eyes for a week.

Eye drops are not fun as I keep flinching. Going to try different methods to find one that works.

Wishing you a speedy recovery!

How are things today?

Just woke up so a little blurry. It was a bit sore earlier this morning so had some pain relief.

Keep forgetting not to itch or rub especially when it's itchy :(

That always sucks! You get so used to doing something even when it itches and you forget, it's like a habit.

The annoying thing if I itch or rub too much I could reverse the work they did and I'm not going through it again. :(

Oh no, wonder if there is anything you could do to prevent yourself from rubbing it. Have you spoken to your specialist about it to see if they have any suggestions?

They gave me eye drops to use four times a day but it only gives temporary relief. I'm hoping by the end of the weekend it gets better.

Fingers crossed for you it does, I can only imagine how annoyong and frustrating it must be.

Eye drops four times a day must be frustrating for me.

Hope for your speedy recovery; I know how bad it feels when you have blurry eyesight.
Eye drops are a pain even just one lot :(

So glad Monday night is the last lot.

I have been diabetic for the last 15 years, and I feel my vision is not well these days. When I wake up in the morning, my eyes are sticky, and sometimes I feel like I see blurry. I am ignoring it, but I feel I need to see a doctor for it before it gets worse.
That's what I was having and very watery eyes which affected my vision.

@Gizmo but that's only when I wake up in the morning..
Always get it checked out if it's causing too many issues. You only have one set of eyes. I've had to learn that the hard way.
