When it comes to raising kids, what method do you think would be more effective, for the parents to be lenient or should they be strict. I think it would be best to have a mixture of both.

I think they must be strict at the time they should be and lenient when required. I have never been strict to my kids but my wife is. My kids do whatever their mom says but ignore sometimes what I ask them to do.😀

I completely agree with this, when it comes to raising a child, there needs to be some level of balance to train the child properly.

When it comes to raising kids, parents often wonder whether to be strict or lenient. The truth is, there's no one-size-fits-all answer. Both strict and lenient parenting styles have their pros and cons.

Strict parenting can provide structure and discipline, which can help kids develop self-control and respect for authority. However, from my experience it can also lead to kids feeling resentful or rebellious. On the other hand, lenient parenting can foster independence and creativity, but it might also result in kids who struggle with boundaries and responsibility.

The way I see it, a balanced approach that combines elements of both styles is often the most effective. This means setting clear expectations and consequences while also offering love, support, and understanding. It's about finding what works best for your family and adapting your approach as your kids grow and change.

I think balance is key. Parents need not be that strict or lenient because children needs discipline and at the same time, they need space to develop. My parents were strict but are very understanding and that is what actually influenced the way I perceive things now. It is just a matter of creating limits without being too controlling.

This should be done in a mixed way and you should not be overly lenient or strict with your kid because this can seriously hamper the kids growth so you should be careful about it
