My cough is not getting cured

@Ginger The Delhi government has banned sales of crackers during Diwali, but still people manage to purchase crackers from nearby states. It's sad that people know that cracker bursting causes pollution, but they still do it.

They consider bursting crackers as the way to celebrate Diwali but not sure who told them that this is the way to celebrate Diwali and if someone stops them then they come up with senseless excuses and explanations

@Ginger there are various reasons why there is lots of pollution in Delhi and traffic is one of the major reasons, factories and burning of stubble in the neighbouring states. If these can be controlled then pollution can be controlled.

I agree but we should try to control the controllables and it can be curbed if there is a strict ban on bursting crackers. Favorites should be regularly audited for environmental measures and use of eco friendly fuel can help.

@Ginger There are lots of other measures too that the government tried, like scrapping 10-year-old diesel vehicles, but that caused lots of chaos, due to which the government had to take its decision back, but that would have been helpful to reduce pollution.
