Computers have changed significantly over the years, but one thing that remains constant is the memory of your first computer.

Do you remember the first-ever PC you had? Do you still own that computer?

Yes it was an Acer, I’ve forgotten the model. But it was so big, whenever I carried it the back my back always hurts. It generated a lot of heat too when I used it.

The first PC I ever remember owning was an Acer, too, and I remember it being quite big.

It is amazing seeing just how technology, especially computers, has gotten smaller over the years, but has become more powerful

Growing up, the first ever computer I had, was a Commodore 64. Now I was late to the party, because we got the Commodore 64 like in the early 90s I want to say. It ended up dying on us at some point, and it was stored in a closet for years. Sadly it no longer worked so we got rid of it. I kind of wish we held onto it, because maybe I could have gotten someone to restore it. But I think we took it to the dump in the early 2000s.

We got our first new PC in the early 2000s though, what's funny about that though, is that we ended up getting a Windows 95 PC. I don't remember the type of PC, I want to say a Compaq or something, but I don't know if that's correct. Also, we got it from the store Fingerhut, and by the time we got it, Windows 98 and I think Windows 2000 were already out, so using Win 95 was probably not the best.

But yeah, those were my first PCs growing up. Following that we got a Windows XP machine, which I remember getting plagued with viruses for reasons lol.

My very first computer was a random one my uncle gave my father. It was an old hunk of junk with cigarette stains all over it........ My first computer that was actually MINE? was an HP....don't remember the specs.....but they weren't anything fancy.

Yes, I remember buying my very first PC in 2008; it was an HP model. Although I can't recall the specs either, it served me well for ten years before I retired it due to the amount of space it occupied up and bought a laptop.
